Mr. Ram N Agarwal
Chairman
Born in October 1946 in Jhansi, Ram Agarwal is one of the first generation literates from Jhansi. In the year 1970, he completed B.Tech from IIT Kanpur specializing in Civil Engineering & in 1972 he completed PGDM from IIM, Kolkata, specializing in Finance, Marketing and Systems.
He began his career in Wipro in the year 1977 as Area Sales Manager for Maharashtra. He was made in charge of sales and exports in 1978-83; during this period he helped Wipro to establish their consumer product brand. In 1983 he was given responsibility in Corporate Finance and Business Planning department. During this tenure Agarwal helped Wipro shape its new dream of setting up their Information Technology Division.
In 1985 he was transferred to Wipro Information Technology Limited to become the Finance Controller and Business Planning Manager.
During 1989-93 he was in charge of International Operations for Wipro Information Technology's hardware and application software group. During this period the seed of Wipro's first overseas office was sown. In 1993 he returned to Peripherals Systems Division to head its operations. He continued to head this Division until 1999. Peripherals Systems Division later was restructured into a new company called Wipro Peripherals Ltd.
Mr. A V Sridhar
Director
A V Sridhar has more than two decades of experience in the technology industry, both as a professional and as an entrepreneur. He is currently the President and CEO of Digite Inc; a leading provider of collaborative enterprise application software for process and portfolio management.
A V Sridhar spent 16 years at Wipro. He has served as President of Wipro with responsibilities spanning distribution, systems integration, software services and eCommerce. At Wipro, he established partnerships with Sun Microsystems, Cisco, Cadence, Adobe, AutoDesk and TIBCO among others.
A V Sridhar holds a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Mr. Ramesh Emani
Director
Ramesh Emani started his new venture called, Insta Health Solutions Pvt Ltd in June 2008. which is focused on solutions for healthcare market in India, as a Co-Founder and CEO. Prior to that, he worked at Wipro for about 24+ years in various positions. His last position in Wipro was as President of Telecom and Product Engineering solutions.
He has done his Masters degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 1980. He is also Charter Member of TiE.
Ramesh is also on the Board of SoftDEL solutions Private Limited, a product engineering services company based in Pune.
Mr. Deepak A Chari
Director
Deepak A. Chari was with Wipro for well over 15 years. He joined Wipro e-Peripherals when it was made a separate corporate entity during 2000-01. He is since then with the WeP Peripherals ltd. currently working as its Senior General Manager -Finance & Business Development.
He is a Chartered Accountant by qualification.
